Any time a player leaves his brain in the locker room -- as Wily Mo Pena apparently did -- I suppose it's fair that fans try and get him to wake up and smell the french-fried potataters, if you will. That said, is anyone really surprised the Red Sox couldn't beat the Blue Jays twice in 10 days on the days when Roy Halladay (eight innings, 10 strikeouts last night) was pitching? Lord, I hope not. Still, there are a few things worth noting: 1. A week ago, I was ready to call for Wily Mo Pena to replace Coco Crisp in the lineup -- at least on a temporary basis, to see how things played out. Considering Big Wily Style is now hitting .143 and has 11 strikeouts in 21 at-bats, perhaps that's a bit premature, eh? 2. Will Julian Tavarez start another game with the Sox? He now has an 0-2 record, and his ERA sits at a fat 8.63 ...
