Up here in Kansas City, things (aka home opener planning) are moving at full speed as we inch closer to April 8 and the Yankees. But, as fast as we are chugging along in the front office, down in Surprise, Ariz., on Wednesday, things (aka setting the roster) seem to be moving at an even faster pace...
With the deadline to have the regular-season roster set by Sunday, the Royals made some moves Wednesday that lowered their in-camp roster to 38. Here's a brief rundown of the news from Surprise:
Acquired right-handed pitcher Ramon Ramirez from the Colorado Rockies for a player to be named.
