Dem Bums - A Dodgers Blog — The Dodgers lost another to the Cardinals on Saturday, 4-0. The Dodgers were held to eight hits and couldn’t produce a run in the loss. Juan Pierre, batting leadoff, had three hits and Andre Ethier chipped in two. The Dodgers have been held to just one run in their two games with the Cards, coming off a sacfly on Friday. Brad Penny held the Cards to four hits, but also allowed four runs to take the loss. All four runs came with two outs in the third. Penny ended up going seven innings with five strikeouts, but the Cardinals’ rally in the third handed him his fifth loss to even his record at .500.
