GAME 3: Starter Zach Duke was pounded for 2 homers in the first, a discouraging sign after a season in which he became arguably the league's most hittable pitcher. Dan Moskos gave up 2 runs in one inning and Marino Salas (acquired in the Torres deal) blew a save. The Bucs did get two off Reds ace Aaron Harang with impressive days at the plate from Bautista, Paulino, and top prospect Andrew McCutchen. Steve Pearce hit the only Pirate homer. Jonathan Papelbon admitted he missed few Red Sox games with migraines last year. Torii Hunter is off to a hot start for the Angels so far in spring training. Astros pitcher Woody Williams was pleased with his first spring training start. A’s pitcher Chad Gaudin made threw his first bullpen since surgeries back in December. Casey Janssen hopes to be a starter for the Blue Jays this season. Jeff Francoeur is hoping for a long-term deal from the Braves. Brewers pitcher Ben Sheets has found a comfortable arm slot.
