Big Stretch for the M’s

... There are a few interesting headlines with the upcoming series that could play out. The Mariners visit Kansas City this weekend and Gil Meche and Felix are supposed to square off on Friday night. As everybody knows the M’s decided to let Gil go during free agency this winter and he signed for a laughable amount (55M). The M’s aren’t laughing anymore because Gil has been pitching like we all were waiting for in Seattle. His command has improved and he has been logging significant innings for the Royals. After the Royals series the M’s travel to Los Angeles were the M’s need to find a way to beat the Angels something they haven’t done this year (1-5). Then Hargrove goes back to one of his old jobs in Baltimore were the M’s could make up some ground on the front running Angels.
