Well, there isn’t really anything positive to write about. This team just purely stinks right now. Until they find some kind of identity, consistency, and purpose, just expect more of the same. Personally, if it is going to be this bad, I am ready to see younger guys like Colin Balestar. After all, the best pitcher on this staff is another youngster, John Lannan. Lannan is by far ready for the Majors and I think he is actually ready to take over as staff ace. He has the pitches, the mentality, the arm, and the confidence.
Ok, there is my little rant of frustration. By the way, wasn’t the offense suppose to be improved? Hmmm.

Nationals’ Cordero Examined

UPDATE: (4/25) 4:20pm (EST) - According to mlb.com, there appears to be no structural damage in Cordero’s shoulder. Dr. James Andrews’ examination revealed rotator-cuff tendinitis, which has been causing Cordero’s soreness. He hopes to play catch this weekend, and appear in games once again next week.
