Every playoff contender in baseball seems to be calling the Pittsburgh Pirates, looking for an upgrade for their playoff push. The Pirates have numerous players that interest those contenders, in this article we’re going to talk about five of those guys. I know that the Cardinals current five-game winning streak has come against the lowly Pirates and Padres and that the rest of this month’s schedule (four at home with Milwaukee, three on the road against the Mets and four on the road against the Braves) will be a much better gauge of how good this team really is.
