I know very little about the NHL. I know Sean Avery use to play for the Rangers and has a reputation as a playboy. I also know that last time I checked hockey players, as well as other Americans, are afforded this nifty right called freedom of speech. Apparently the NHL thinks differently.

Don’t Feel Bad for Sean Avery

... baby. Deal with it.
I feel absolutely zero remorse for Avery. I don’t like players who have repeatedly proven themselves to be assholes (for lack of a better word) and think that they deserve to be treated with a level of respect that they haven’t even earned. Avery will likely be picked up by some other team, and it will take roughly 2 weeks before he annoys them and gets traded again.

... know this, as we aren’t hockey guys and apologized. The guy continued to be an ass, and yelled that there was a sign. Well, he was standing DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the sign. We walked away and the guy said “What did you think we didn’t have seats?” Well, I turned around and said “No, I think that you are a (insert expletive here).” Hey, his kids had to learn sometime.
Anyway, It was fun. That being said, I’ll leave the hockey to The Rivalry.

Here we go again: From the people that inspired the founding of The Rivalry and the WCWP Sports Blog, we done it again.
I’m completely kidding by the way. However, I am serious that Talking Baseball’s Mike DeJoy has started his own Yankee Blog. He’s about as hardcore of a yankee fan as I know. We’re talking about a guy who goes down to spring training annually.
He’s kind of learning how to do this on the fly, but the content is top notch. You should definitely check it out.
