The Rivalry
The night before the deadline, GM Glen Sather and Coyotes GM Don Maloney had a player-for-player deal on the table, Hossa for Sjostrom. It would have been a steal for the Rangers. Hossa was an underachiever who fans expected more from because of his last name (See: Fedorov, Fedor). Along with his 8 points, he had 24 penalty minutes, most probably from hooking. Sjostrom had 19 points (he played ...

Ranger Pundit — ... ." Someone forgot to tell the Pundit to lace up his skates - just found out about the contest that apparently started several days ago. The Ranger Pundit is also getting hammered in the first period by our opponent, The Rivalry , blog. It's an NY Islander/Rangers oriented blog with a lot of support over at 'The NHL Arena." It looks like we'll have to pull the goalie soon or do something drastic (sorry, no flopping allowed) if The Ranger Pundit is going to have a chance. Our opponent, Bryan, is ...

Your Slot Here....
payday loan without faxing — Today I wanted to spotlight one blog and one blog only....it comes from the East Coast and is called The Rivalry. The Rivalry takes the Rangers-Isles battle and raises it to a level that shoots straight from the hip with no malice. Though they freely admit to not being world experts on the sport of hockey....they know the game no question. What I like most is their ability to find the deeper story within the story. It is a nice refreshing change of pace from the normal blogs that I read everyday. Just take a look at one of their ...

And People Say The NFL Is The No Fun Leauge..
The 3rd String Safety — I know very little about the NHL. I know Sean Avery use to play for the Rangers and has a reputation as a playboy. I also know that last time I checked hockey players, as well as other Americans, are afforded this nifty right called freedom of speech. Apparently the NHL thinks differently. Here’s Zach Schiff’s take on Sean Avery’s suspension as seen on NYHockeyRivarly.com Last year, Chris Pronger stomped - yes, stomped - on Ryan Kesler’s face. The dirty player, glorified by the NHL Network and nearly every hockey pundit out ...

Dec. 5 - 10:46 am et Look at that. Apaprently, you can miss almost 10 percent of a season for being a total jackass. Who Knew? For all your NHL news and analysis, check out The Rivalry. Don’t Feel Bad for Sean Avery
The 3rd String Safety — ... baby. Deal with it. I feel absolutely zero remorse for Avery. I don’t like players who have repeatedly proven themselves to be assholes (for lack of a better word) and think that they deserve to be treated with a level of respect that they haven’t even earned. Avery will likely be picked up by some other team, and it will take roughly 2 weeks before he annoys them and gets traded again. Oh Yea, For all the Hockey you need, check out The Rivalry. Two Football Writers Go to a Hockey Game…
The 3rd String Safety — ... know this, as we aren’t hockey guys and apologized. The guy continued to be an ass, and yelled that there was a sign. Well, he was standing DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the sign. We walked away and the guy said “What did you think we didn’t have seats?” Well, I turned around and said “No, I think that you are a (insert expletive here).” Hey, his kids had to learn sometime. Another WCWPer Throws Their Hat In The Blogging Ring…
The 3rd String Safety — Here we go again: From the people that inspired the founding of The Rivalry and the WCWP Sports Blog, we done it again. I’m completely kidding by the way. However, I am serious that Talking Baseball’s Mike DeJoy has started his own Yankee Blog. He’s about as hardcore of a yankee fan as I know. We’re talking about a guy who goes down to spring training annually. He’s kind of learning how to do this on the fly, but the content is top notch. You should definitely check it out.
