EAT A DICK, SPURS
Published 2/20/2008 at With Leather
The Bobcats got crushed 85-65 in San Antonio last night, but they could have lost 85-2 as long as the lone basket was this dunk by Jason Richardson. It doesn't really get any better than Manu Ginobili getting a faceful of J-Rich's crotch while the Argentine flophound tries to draw a charge inside the arc. Fan IQ has several other videos of the Spurs acting like assholes (Bruce Bowen recreating a scene from Flashdance; the Longorias doing "Summer Nights" from Grease) that I won't post because somebody made Zapruder films by hand-recording what was on their TV.  Who are the mongoloids who keep doing this?  It ...

(Usually) Everyday I'll throw out a photo from the AP or one of the bigger sites and you provide the caption. Hilarity ensues. I'm also adding a handful of links at the bottom of the page that you should check out each day. Yesterday's Winners.... If you want to prove the San Antonio Spurs are the greatest outfit in basketball, I guess all those titles are exhibit A. But these hilariously self-deprecating musical theater videos are exhibit B. Don't stop watching 'til you see the Coyote take a tumble on the bleachers. Video of a little timeout squabble in which Zach Randolph douses teammate Nate Robinson with water, and Robinson hucks a towel at Randolph. Afterwards, both players played it down. After jumping Malik Rose in the shower in late 2005, Nate Robinson is on record as willing to scrap with much bigger teammates. If you see Jason Richardson staring off into space, reflecting on something today, be ...

Tim Duncan like you’ve never seen him before

Many thanks to Roughkat for passing along this video of Tim Duncan lip syncing to “Sherry” by the Jersey Boys. There are more Spurs singing videos at this link, though it’s frustratingly slow.

BRUCE BOWEN IS A MANIAC, MANIAC, ON THE FLOOR
Published 2/20/2008 by mandy at Girls Gone Sports
While I'm hating on the Spurs...here are some horribly recorded videos of them making asses of themselves. The Spurs reenacted a bunch of musical numbers for their Tux N Tennies Charity Event, and lucky for us, the videos have found their way on to the internet. I'd give the Spurs credit for putting on a charity event, but really I just hate them too much. I'd much rather laugh at them. And so should you. Bruce Bowen in "Flashdance" - probably the scariest of the bunch Robert Horry in "The Sound of Music" Tony Parker and Eva Longoria (why must she work her ...

Bruce Bowen is dancing like he's never danced before
Published 2/21/2008 at Ball Don't Lie
See if this doesn't shake you to your core: Yes, Bruce Bowen reenacting a montage from Flashdance as part of some Spurs' charity event. Shudder. And there's more from where that came from! If you can stomach it, here's Tim Duncan in Jersey Boys, Robert Horry in The Sound of Music, and Tony Parker and his wifey Eva Longoria in Grease. That last one gave me an ulcer. But hey, one question: where's Matt Bonner's Moulin Rouge? [via 100% Injury Rate]
