No offense, this logo is lame. Nothing makes it unique...they should have kept the supersonic logo. Oklahoma Supersonics -- that sounds somewhat better than OKC thunder.

Oklahoma City name and logo leaked?
NBA Noise — Over on The Oklahoma City NBA Sports Blog and The Lost Ogle, they are displaying what they claim to be a legit Oklahoma City logo printed on a basketball from their unpacking facility. As expected, Thunder appears to be the name they are going with. But for all that is sacred, let's all pray that this logo ISN'T real. First of all, the colors? Orange, yellow and blue? It looks like a great design for the Lego-man team, but not for a professional basketball franchise. It has the text "OKC" in some kind of action-adventure movie font pasted across what looks to ...

Assist by The Mitten — ... Owner Clay Bennett and his merry band of oil tycoons have chosen for their team the inexplicably stupid name: Oklahoma City Thunder. Thunder
Supersonicsoul - The Sonics Blog! — According to an OKC sports blog, the new logo for the ex-Sonics is ... this. I suppose one could make a comment regarding the quality of the logo, but, honestly, anything I say regarding this is just going to come off as sour grapes, regardless of the merit of my opinion. So with that in mind, permit me to make one positive comment about the logo (assuming, of course, that this is indeed the actual logo and not just something cooked up at a factory outside of Beijing): It is very easy to draw, and, if life has ...
