RedBaron Listen kid, I've been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the chat room for 48 minutes. -
TheHype Please, Mr. Jabbar, contain your excitement, there are children reading this. -
MHaubs I can report on good authority that, at the end of this chat, Jason threw down his headset and exclaimed, "That sucked!" in disgust. -
chone I like his Joe Morganesque answers - "I haven't had a chance to see him play", "I really can't answer that". -
Zorgon That was pure awesomeness, Jason. I'd suggest viewing the other chats to anyone else.
And does anyone have the Grizzlies original website? They are the first team to have one (1995) and I'd really like to laugh at how unprofessional it must've been.

I'd have to go with someone like Vin Baker. He does a lot of things very well, and doesn't get a lot of respect.

... found this great post: It's a online chat with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from 10 years ago. 46 questions from fans, and 46 answers that all say nothing. We are impressed. It might be years before an athlete says nothing like at this skill level. Some of our favorites:

I was actually responsible for transcribing this beauty. I've got to hand it to the guy--he stuck with it for the full half hour, despite that fact that he was clearly not interested in discussing ... anything at all (even his new book). A couple of my favorite excerpts:
