For the record, I believe that the Spurs will win tonight. I agree with Michael that the Spurs are "too good to lose to these guys in six." As for a game seven in New Orleans, I'm not so sure... I'd rather that the Spurs not be in this position, but it is what it is. ...

Home team victories in the Spurs/Hornets series have been so lopsided, the average margin of victory is 13.5 points. Can we expect more of the same on Monday (MONDAY? The NBA is making fans wait until MONDAY to see this series decided? WTH kind of schedule is that?) or will the Spurs be the first road team to break through, keeping their hard-earned “World Champions” designation alive? ...

Those specific fans (note: not all Spurs fans, some were just as disgusted by the chant as anyone) chanted for a player who had just injured another player, and in doing so, have placed themselves among the elite in the running for "Classless Fans of the Year 2008." But in the end, we'll rationalize it however we feel is most comfortable. Horry will play in Game 7, West may not, and it's possible that as a result, the fans in San Antonio may have a chance to chant the name of a player that injures a Los Angeles Laker or Utah Jazz player instead. ...
