RyNoSauce If you are in a position such as this I don't think that you should abuse your power for harm. Howard Stern telling people to vote for a particular individual is one thing, but telling listeners to perform a DoS attack to a site you dont like is crazy.
Mite as well call him the "Rosie O'Donnell" of sports media. Sorry Cowherd -- lost points there.

thegreenmenace So, this guy I know thinks it would be really appropriate to declare an all out war against Schrutebag. This guy thinks we should educate all the sports bloggers and readers about what a denial of service attack really means, we coordinate an electronic attack, taking off his site, his phonelines and his station altogether, this guy thinks if Schrutebags like him really want a fight, we should give them one. This guy thinks if we make up our minds to do this, `"Tonight we dine in ESPN's staff cafeteria!" -
Erin One thing you can do - report this to the ESPN Ombudsman. Who knows, if she gets enough complaints maybe ESPN will do something... Wishful thinking?

Instead of expressing his anger, he smashed his opponent's ability to express his own thoughts. You don't have to like what somebody says about you. However, to prevent an opponent from expressing his or her opinions is an affront to an open society (dare I say it, an affront to democracy).
