Osama Bin Laden Has Great Upside
Published 4/25/2008 at The Sporting Blog
Local Dallas sports anchor Dale Hansen has some thoughts on Pacman coming to town, and they involve Al-Qaeda: Ah yes. Cowboys fans angry at Jerry Jones. As a Redskins fan, that just made my weekend. And speaking of owners completely ruining once proud franchises, I know this all too well. I'm an Orioles fan, and their owner is Peter Angelos. Enough said. (H/T: Deuce of Davenport )
DFW TV Guy: Cowboys Might As Well Sign Osama

... ( Hansen: Distended Feedbag Has Warded Off Possible Firings Over The Years ) DEUCE OF DAVENPORT digs up the clip of Hansen bemoaning the recent direction of “America’s Team” that has pursued such ne’er-do-wells as Tank Johnson , Terrell Owens and now Pacman. It being Texas, there’s some casual racism thrown in just for fun. (video after the jump) Osama is really 6′4″? You don’t say? What was his 40 time? Sure, he’s a little on the old side and a lot on the terrorist side, but I’m sure Double J, Jerry Jones can overlook that. At least Al Davis could. Not only is Hansen ...
WFAA Sports Anchor Dale Hansen Compares Pacman Jones to Osama bin Laden
Published 4/25/2008 by Michael David Smith at FanHouse
Filed under: Cowboys, NFL Video, DallasThe Dallas Cowboys recently traded for cornerback Pacman Jones, who is currently suspended by the NFL for a series of off-field incidents That does not sit well with Dallas WFAA Sports Anchor Dale Hansen: (Via Deuce of Davenport) I'm not familiar with Hansen's work, but based on this video clip, I'd have to conclude that he's unhinged. Saying the Cowboys should sign Osama bin Laden was supposed to be funny, I guess, but it wasn't. And Hansen ...
"Why Don't They Sign Osama Bin Laden? He's 6'4 and We KNOW No One Can Catch Him!"

... It's funny because it's true. Deuce of Davenport provides this video (that appears to be filmed from one of Al-Queda's caves) coming from Dallas station WFAA's Dale Hansen. ...
The city of Dallas isn't showing Pacman the respect he deserves

... a bit of a stretch. I don't know. Pacman's
a lot of things, but to my knowledge, he's so far stopped short of joining al-Queda
or mastermining any mass murders. Also, this guy is okay with murdering Pacman
Jones if he attempts to date your daughter.
Okay, that last one actually might not be such a bad idea. Still ... ease it
back a notch, fella. You're going to give yourself a coronary.

Dallas Sports Anchor Would Like to See Bin Laden in Cowboys Uniform

... Closed-circuit to Hansen: I’d relax a little. Let’s give Jerry Jones a little credit for only spending a fourth-rounder on the controversial cornerback — if Pacman can somehow stay out of trouble, Jones will look like an absolute genius. Now, the odds of that actually happening are quite slim, but Pacman is nevertheless a player with first round talent. It’s a low-risk, high-reward move by Jones, and he deserves some props for that.

I don't understand why he has to be so hateful towards the choice that Jerry Jones has made. IMHO I think that this is a good choice. I don't think that this is hurting the reputation of the franchise. With the turn around T.O has become from a self-centered individual who acts out at the very team he is apart of while in Philly to being a "cry baby" what some would call and passionately defending his team and quarterback. With that in mind I think it is safe to say the Dallas Cowboy franchise unlike the Raiders will take in "bad" players and turn them in the right direction, thus giving them the ability to play to their full potential.
Pacman knows that he has NO room for slip-ups and for Jerry Jones to pick him up with the mere 4 round trade is priceless. Jones is no dummy - he has thought this through he knows that Pacman is at a point in his career that there are no more second chances. Basically he got a 1st round player with proven abilities and an insurance policy to keep his nose clean for a 4th round player.
Excellent move.
