Interesting Bits of Tid Well, the Tigers finally won a game after starting the season 0-7 and worrying the moustache off of Jim Leyland (not in a literal sense). Unfortunately, any hope of a winning streak was put to rest when Tim Wakefield took the mound the next night. ... have gone 16-7 in his decisions if pitchers were awarded wins for every well-pitched decision and losses for every poorly pitched decision.

... 2007 was the unluckiest season of at least this decade. Seeing as the Giants have a bleak outlook this trend should continue.
