As fantasy owners scramble to blindly add him or rush to put in a waiver claim for you unlucky Yahoo leaguers, the question you should actually be asking yourself is “What can we expect from him this year?”

As I write this, the Angles trail Oakland 4-0 in the second inning. After a nice start, Nick Adenhart, making his major league debut, gave up a hit, four walks, and another hit, which led to those four runs. It's times like these I like to recall ...

Highly-touted prospect Nick Adenhart made his major league debut for the Angels on Thursday night. To say it didn’t go well is an understatement. His line: 2 IP, 5 ER, 5 BB, 3 H, 0 K, removed in the third inning of the Angels’ 15-8 loss to Oakland. What’s even worse is he had a chance at redemption and lost it. He allowed four runs in the second, and the Angels bailed ...Adenhart Feels The Heat

Nick Adenhart made his Major League debut on Thursday night and possibly was a little overwhelmed by it. Having no problems retiring the side in the first inning with two ground outs and a fly ball to right, Adenhart experienced some real major league turbulence. After getting Frank Thomas to start out inning number two with a quick groundout, he gave up a single to Emil Brown to right. ...LIVE BLOGGING ADENHART'S DEBUT: INNING 2

Here comes Big Frank, the greatest hitter Nick Adenhart has ever faced. Fastball way outside, then he grooves one that The Hurt fouls back. Brings the fastball back in a couple of times and Thomas breaks his bat and ground out to third. Some nice action on that fastball, and I like the coming inside against Frank Thomas there. Emil Brown can't hurt a curveball, so Adenhart starts him off with ...Nick Adenhart To Make Major League Debut

Angels righthander Nick Adenhart, the top pitching prospect in the organization, was called up today from Triple-A Salt Lake to make his major league debut against Oakland. Ben Badler makes a lot of good arguments for why this is a less than optimal decision on the part of the Angels, but I think this one is the most telling: It all points to an imperfect storm for Adenhart, a pitcher with ...Nick Adenhart to Make Major League Debut

Angels' right-hander Nick Adenhart will make his Major League debut tonight against Oakland, and he'll make his waivers debut shortly thereafter. The 21-year-old was 4-0 at Triple-A Salt Lake with a 0.87 ERA, although his K/BB ratio was not exactly Scherzerian. He struck out 19 and walked 15. Still, this is a player who deserves immediate attention in A.L.-only leagues and dynasty ...Adenhart set for debut
