Reds fans put together a list of preferred lineups over at On Baseball and the Reds, and the post-mathematical conclusions are relatively straightforward: Dusty's lineups aren't much, if at all, worse than most fan lineups. His personnel choices are still questionable -- Corey Patterson is still patrolling center instead of Jay Bruce -- but in terms of optimizing the personnel he's chosen, Dusty seems to be doing a pretty solid job.
