This has nothing to do with baseball, but I just love this post exploring the "common wisdom" that red-shirt Enterprise crew members are most likely to die . The surprising finding? Red-shirt crew members are much less likely to die if Kirk "meets" a woman. If this guy were a baseball fan, he'd be a true sabermetrician.

Basement Dwellers — Reds headed to Goodyear With a successful vote by the Goodyear City Council, the Reds are destined for Goodyear in 2010. I still think that this probably is not in Goodyear's best interests.
