• The Tigers have won the Miguel Cabrera sweepstakes. The Marlins get six players — Cameron Maybin, Andrew Miller, catcher Mike Rabelo and three minor league prospects — for the slugging third baseman.
What Peter didn’t mention was that Dontrelle Willis has been included in the deal as well.

Tigers and Marlins have reached preliminary agreement on an eight-player trade that will send Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit for a package of six players.
