Lugo should move to second and Pedroia to short. Better yet, Lowrie should start at second and Pedroia should move to short.

Fred9964 While the sox clearly needed a shortstop, Lugo is proving himself to have been a poor answer. At least he's hitting a little better now, but after blowing Wednesday's game for Papelbon, he's become a major liability. I think the Sox are going to go with the homegrown talent here.
I think the Sox are going to give Lowrie some more at bats to see if he can handle the fulltime 2B job. If he can, I see them putting Lugo in a backup role. Not much else they can do with him. no one else is going to want him.
