Time for Strahan to decide

So, Michael Strahan feels "betrayed" by the Giants. I think Strahan has this backwards. To me, the holdout defensive end is the one betraying his team. By waiting until the eve of training camp to announce that he is contemplating retirement and then not going to camp it is Strahan who has wronged the Giants, not the other way around. Michael Strahan has been sitting out of NY Giants training camp. As he is one of their best defensive players, and because he alerted them of this one day before camp was going to start, the organization is in a bit of angst. One side (the organization) feels that this is a ploy for a restructuring of his contract, an offer that was shot down earlier in the year, while he was on the sidelines.
