Affliction formally announces Arlovski/Barnett, Ortiz announcement a bit different than expected
Ropes, Ring and Cage — On a day that many within the MMA community figured would feature the long-rumored signing of Tito Ortiz to Affliction's new promotion, the only news with the Huntington Beach Bad Boy was that girlfriend Jenna Jameson is now pregnant. It's fully expected that Ortiz' inking to battle Renato "Babalu" Sobral on the fed's next show on October 11th is imminent. Affliction did formally announce that Josh Barnett vs. Andrei Arlovski will headline that October show at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 am.
