Game to pay attention to: The Battle For Samaki Walker's Soul

... have a chance against the Laker triangle. And that Phil Jackson is the master of the strong-side help on defense, which can frustrate Tim Duncan to no end. What also needs to be known is that the Lakers haven't always, even in the championship years, but the amount of effort into the triangle that is needed to succeed-it. I had a rhyme, and then I ruined it, on purpose. Also, the Lakers can float defensively, causing Jackson to have to get up and whistle. (Also, this is pretty cool.) San Antonio's effort will be there, this team isn't going anywhere, ...

VOTE OR DIE

... But no longer! Consider this the official commencement of the "Ronny Turiaf for Yellowbook Cam" campaign (Cam-paign?). Who wants to watch Kobe on a player cam when he's touching the ball 90% of the time anyway? A Ronny-cam would likely be more entertaining than the game itself: a 12-minute spurt of yelling, cheering, dancing, and assorted bench shenanigans. Make sure to "rock the vote" here. ...

... for Kobe -- let's get Ronny Turiaf elected. U&M explains: Who wants to watch Kobe on a player cam when he's touching the ball 90% of the time anyway? A Ronny-cam would likely be more entertaining than the game itself: a 12-minute spurt of yelling, cheering, dancing, and assorted bench shenanigans. ... me that San Antonio comes home and gets the job done. My heart’s telling me that LA can do this. My gut’s telling me that San Antonio will be troubled by the ball movement that the triangle espouses. Goin’ with my intestines again. I don’t know… I do think that the Lakers take 1 of 2 at San Antonio, and I think that game 3’s ripe for the pickin’. Lakers take a nail-biter. Get your live viewing at TNT Interwebby thingy. And talk about it at either LA BallTalk’s Live Blog, or AOL ...

All eyes on Ronny Turiaf
Published 5/27/2008 at Ball Don't Lie
As most of you know, TNT is running a cool online promotion called the Yellowbook Cam, which is a camera that follows a player for each team decided by you, the Internet-savvy voting public. So far, Kobe, Manu and TP have controlled the series' votes and cameras, but the ...

Lakers/Spurs Game 4 Chat

... in transition or early in the clock before the Spurs defense sets, when mismatches can occur. Push the pace. Along those same lines, the Lakers bench needs to come in, push the pace and get some easy buckets in transition (or in mismatches early in the clock). The Spurs bench players were energized at home, they played far more comfortably, and that seemed to make our bench guys recoil a little. Tonight they need to attack. One other thing to look for tonight — the Ronny Yellowbook Cam. For some opposing views, check out Spurs Dynasty and Pounding The ...

... Make sure you tune in for game 5 of the Lakers/Spurs battle, you have quite a few options on this: First - you have to tune into TNT’s interwebby feed-thingy… Second - choose your flavour of game chat… LA BallTalk‘ll be liveblogging the game, as will Yahoo’s Ball Don’t Lie.
