The Diamondbacks called up top pitching prospect Max Scherzer from AAA Tuscon. Scherzer joined the D-backs after dominating the Pacific League with a 1.17 ERA in 23 innings this season. Adding one of the best pitching prospects in baseball to a team that already leads the major leagues with a 3.04 ERA almost seems unfair.
