The Mets Are Better Than Sex —
I hope the Mets scoop up some non-tendered guys. That's what the money is for people. Anything where we can use money to add talent instead of other talent sounds delicious to me. Some interesting names popping up: Mark Prior: Here's the prize of the non-tendronis. It's a no-brainer to sign him if he's interested. Cubs gave him up over 3M, and only a few teams will have that kind of money to give up for a guy with his injury history. Yanks, Red Sox, Mets etc. I could see it coming down to who will guarantee him a 2nd year, which is admittedly a tough call. ...
