Tony Romo Gets Booed, Shows He Can't Sing
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field today before the Cubs-Diamondbacks game, and he was roundly booed. Then he sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and got booed some more: Romo grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin, 75 miles from Chicago, and he played at Eastern Illinois, and he's apparently a Cubs fan. But really, it's probably not the best idea to ... [link]

Tony Romo Keeps Showing Up And We Don’t Care
Published 5/12/2008 by jason at SPORTSbyBROOKS
... The Cowboys QB was invited to sing during the seventh-inning stretch of Sunday’s Cubs game. And as Michael David Smith of AOL FANHOUSE belts out, he wasn’t a welcomed sight (with video after the jump). During his introduction, Romo was treated to a chorus of boos - the same reaction he got when he threw out the game’s first pitch. And once the song started, Tony couldn’t carry a tune. But like any smart field general, Romo knew when to cut his losses - he more or less stopped singing, and waved his microphone out the window to let the fans do the dirty work. Jessica ...

Cowboys going Hollywood

... more about his potential acting career in the article. Not to be outdone, Tony Romo sang Take Me Out To The Ballgame at a Cubs game yesterday and threw out the first pitch. The reviews for his first pitch?  Cubs fans showered Dallas Cowboys quarterback and former Eastern Illinois star Tony Romo with loud boos as he threw out the first pitch. But what about his singing? Well, you can be the judge by watching the clip, here. I'd say his voice ranks somewhere between his girlfriend's and a constipated ...

Please don’t do it to us Romo
Cowboys Quarterback and certified pretty boy, Tony Romo , was at the Cubs game yesterday . He threw out the first pitch and did his best to sing the 7th inning “Take me out to the ballgame.” He did ok with the throw, I mean he is a Quarterback afterall. The singing part of it was a little questionable though. If you have sensitive ears, don’t play this video, your ears ...
Tony Romo butchers the 7th Inning Stretch at Wrigley Field
Since I used a post on Friday to do my best Simon Cowell impersonation on Amanda Overmyer and her rendition of the National Anthem at the Cubs-D'Backs game, it's only fair that I also post Tony Romo's "singing" of Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Perhaps needless to say, it is much, much worse than Ms. Overmyer's needless "interpretation." While I like Romo as much as a ...
Tony Romo "Sings" Take Me Out to the Ballgame at Wrigley
Noting that a 7th inning stretch was horribly done is nothing new, but at least most of the horrible singers understand they are horrible. Let's just say Tony Romo bobbled the snap and came nowhere near recovering the fumble. Witness the disaster that is Romo singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' at Wrigley Field on Sunday. This was five interceptions and a fumble at ...
