According to unnamed sources, Marty Smith of ESPN and Tom Bowles of Sports Illustrated were sitting in a Charlotte bar Tuesday night, discussing an editorial by Fox Sports' Lee Spencer. There are rumors running around that Tony Stewart will leave Gibbs Racing when his contract runs at the end of 2009 or possibly sooner. Sports Illustrated says that Tony Stewart is working on a deal to move from Joe Gibbs Racing to Haas CNC racing in 2009. Right now Tony Stewart is 7th place in the points.
