The Viking Age | A Blog For Minnesota Vikings Fans — A report out of Tampa says the Vikings have offered Jared Allen a six-year deal worth between $50 and $60 million with $25 million in guarantees. This is less than what everyone expected the Vikes would have to cough up to sign Allen, who is believed to be looking for something in the neighborhood of what Dwight Freeney got - 6 years, $72 million, $30 million guaranteed.
