As expected, the New York Mets have optioned Eddie Kunz to Triple-A New Orleans. Kunz made four appearances had a 13.50 ERA in four relief appearances with the Mets. Prior to being promoted, Kunz was with Double-A Binghamton, where he recorded 27 saves, one short of Jerrod Riggan’s club record.

He may be giving up hits, but he's limiting the numbers of runs allowed, and that's all that matters. Still, the home runs, especially of the Solo variety, seem to be a big issue lately.
