A Miami judge has set a June 2 trial date for Vikings player Bryant McKinnie on charges arising from a brawl outside a nightclub.

Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie had a June 2 trial date set today at a brief hearing in a Miami courtroom. McKinnie was arrested in February after allegedly spitting in the face of a bouncer at a nightclub, shoving a camera phone into his face and slamming a heavy pole over his head. He faces several charges, the most serious of which is aggravated battery, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison. McKinnie did not appear in court, and his lawyer and prosecutors said they have not reached a pleal deal. The Vikings have said they are taking a wait-and-see ...
