The signing of Colombian Iván Trujillo has been confirmed today by Wizards Coach Curt Onalfo during his interview on Between the Lines on Sports Radio 810AM here in Kansas City. Onalfo said that the signing should be officially announced in the next few days. [link]

Down The Byline blog is confirming that Kansas City has signed the Colombian striker who we posted a rumor about last Monday. We were very confident about this rumor and knew it would only be a matter of time before he was announced. However, so many people, including some well paid soccer journalists were puzzled by Kansas City not drafting a forward when they had the chance during the SuperDraft. If they read MLS Rumors like you do they'd already have had the answer.
