Tulane running back Matt Forte catches eye of Detroit Lions

According to Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Detroit Lions are showing some interest in Tulane running back Matt Forte, who had a spectacular 2007 season. The 6-2, 225-pounder, whose stock is on the rise after an impressive workout at the scouting combine, will meet with the team this weekend.
