Upon racking up his sixth win of the season, I felt that today’s comic should commemorate the solid start of Cliff Lee. Lee struck out seven, allowed six hits and walked none last night. Generally when a pitching match up is hyped it falls flat on its face. Hopefully Chien-Ming Wang holds up his end of the bargain tonight when the Yankees face Cliff Lee and the Indians . By now, a strong outing from Cliff Lee should come as no surprise. The shocker Wednesday night was that the Tribe bats actually backed Lee in an 8-3 victory over the Mariners at Progressive Field.
