Yes, the Redskins were awful at interior running in 2007, and yes, that responsibility falls on the guards and the center, of which Fabini is roughly 1/3 responsible. But a closer review of game tape shows that Fabini was no more likely to miss a block than were incumbent starters Pete Kendall or Casey Rabach.
