UFC.com has officially announced that Melvin Guillard will return to the organization to battle Dennis Siver at UFC 86 (Rampage vs Forrest). What? Dating back to his Baltimore Sun interview…. I’m going to take a few fights outside the UFC to get back some of my wins. Hopefully, it’s not any all-around chumps. So one fight against a .500 opponent on a small show and you bring him back? Two new fights have been annouced for UFC 86. It will be interesting to see which of these two including Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Lytle will fill out the main card for UFC 86. I heard this rumor about 2 days ago, and now that Frank Mir vs. Justin McCully has been removed from The UFC 86 card on UFC.com, I figured it was worth posting. This is just a rumor for now, but I do know it was one of the original replacement ideas. By the way, the UFC 85 calendar once again says live on PPV.

Chris Wilson (13-4) and Steve Bruno (11-3) will touch gloves in a welterweight prelim bout during the UFC 86: “Jackson vs. Griffin” pay-per-view (PPV) event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 5, according to UFC.com. UFC.com has confirmed a welterweight fight between Team Quest’s Chris Wilson and Steve Bruno to take place at UFC 86 : Jackson vs. Griffin . Wilson was a late replacement for the injured Akihiro Gono at UFC 82 but proved his worth in the Octagon by making Jon Fitch tough out a grueling three round decision victory. The UFC obviously liked Wilson’s guts and have brought him back on board to fight again in a preliminary bout against Bruno. Bruno is a product of American Top Team and will be making his debut inside the Octagon. Bruno has had much success in the Spirit MC promotion in Korea and this will be his first fight in over a year. ...
