Mind you, I doubt there were many people who were willing to pay to see Jorge Gurgel fight anyways. But the fight is certainly better than any match on the UFC 86 main card (not including Rampage/Griffin, which in my opinion declared independence from the rest of that shitty event and stands on it’s own as a fight now).

To defeat Affliction, the UFC is really turning their July 19th event in "The Anderson Silva Show", which I tend to think is genius. While the UFC's card that night overall isn't as good as Affliction's, the talking points of "free fights" and "greatest fighter in the world on Spike TV" are far more effective than any argument being used by Affliction.
