I guess as the season comes closer and closer it is now time to begin talking about the opponents of the Tar Heels. I am going to respectfully skip McNeese State, as it is a Division IAA, err, a Football Championship Subdivision, team and I am not going to find much about them, and I know even less of that team. So I will begin with the second game of the season against Rutgers.

Even stating that coach Jerry Moore has tried to schedule the Tar Heels in his schedule and that Carolina has "balked" at it.
