United Coaching Change
And we turn the page on that chapter. Classy move on Soehn's part. We may have had the more games to deal with than any other MLS coach, but missing the playoffs two years in a row is unacceptable. If you're playing in too many games, maybe the organizations "eyes are bigger than its stomach," ...

Breaking: Tom Soehn out at DCU Manager
DC United — ... EDIT: Apparently, after reading more closely, the official line coming out of the team is that Soehn himself walked away before the team could make a decision. Interesting, and probably a good move on his part. Always better to quit than be fired. ...

Interesting Fact

Terrapin Trail — It seems like a long shot, but Terrapin men’s soccer coach Sasho Cirovski’s name has been put out there as a possible replacement for Tom Soehn, who yesterday told United officials he did not want to seek a contract extension. Soehn had just finished the final year of his current deal. United missed the MLS playoffs for the second straight season. On his Soccer Insider blog today, the Washington Post’s Steven Goff put up a ...
