We've just announce the club has acquired midfielder Joe Vide. 24-year old Vide was acquired in today's waiver draft after the San Jose Earthquakes waived him on July 14. ... moderately sucks, in that it indicates our lack of depth not just in defense but in the keeper position as well. And the acquisition of Joe Vide only sucks if we allow ourselves to somehow believe that this is the sum of United's answers to a problem with depth all over the field. So there's suck going around, and this just emphasizes the need to play the reserves in this Superliga match against Chivas.
