San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman found this out the hard way. Merriman was arrested early Sunday morning, charged with battery and false imprisonment of his girlfriend, former reality diva Tila Tequila. According to San Diego County police, Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, called police from Merriman’s home in Poway, Calif., just north of San Diego. Tequila signed a citizen’s arrest warrant charging Merriman. Balsillie Increases Bid for Coyotes by $30 million to $242.5 million
