Nike Smikey I say. If they do not win it all this year they are going to need good hiking boots, since it's a long walk from Bejing back to the US.

The excuse that this was just "artistic" is idiotic.

I always cover all Reebok and Adidas symbols in my art.

It's nice to know that having one small, creepy old guy sitting down in the company of 12 strong, tall, athletic men passes for artistry nowadays.

Also, how many times do you think they had to take that photo before they could get one of Deron and Chris Paul not pranking each other?

I have to strongly disagree. Why is it that the swoosh on Howards chest is the only one that is predominantly showing.

Furthermore, is the author SERIOUSLY trying to tell us that THIS is the photo that Team USA plans to use? With Coach K slouching? Chris Paul half missing? Bron Bron falling over?

COME ON! This is more likely to be a race issue then anything!

This photo is total "product positioning" by Nike.  There is no natural reason for Dwight Howard to be out of height positioning and for his shoes to be covered by Coach K's leg/feet.

What surprises me also, is how many of the players are sponsored by Nike - is that a coincidence or did they have some influence on the player selection?

A day early this week, since I can't imagine this site will be getting a whole lot of traffic tomorrow. How good are the Angels? Sean Smith knows. The streak lives! (See here for reference.) The Schilling/Jack Morris comparisons are awesome. Buster Olney, reporter? Fine. Buster Olney, analyst? No. Something about some team that's doing well, or something. A logo conspiracy? I think so. A proposal (#17) to add a new wing to the Hall of Fame titled, "What The Hell, They Were Better Than Jim Rice".

It’s This Crap Again

... One thing ruined the 1992 Dream Team steamrolling of the World for me:  All that crap about the logo on the official warm-ups.  Jordan and other Nike pitch-men didn’t want to display the Reebok logo.  Some guys wore the warm-ups wide open… others (like Jordan in the above photo) concealed the logo with a flag. I always hated that.  I thought it was tasteless.  And now this whole logo thing coming up again. Nike put out this photo out because it got to design the new uniforms.  Can you guess which ...
