There will be no bigger Tiger Woods fans this afternoon than the blue blazer-wearing leaders of the United States Golf Association. The USGA needs Woods to win so they can dismiss any truth talk about how they hoisted another ridiculous U.S. Open setup on the American public. Cabrera holds off Tiger & Furyk to win U.S. Open

Angel Cabrera is the U.S. Open champ, the fourth straight foreign-born champion in the national championship of American golf. He did it by outlasting Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk on a frantic back nine. Cabrera finished at 5-over par after shooting a final-round 69, his second sub-par round of the tournament.
