From the wild world of hockey rumors, Bruce Garrioch reports: The Vancouver Canucks are after Mats Sundin.  League sources told Sun Media the Canucks have offered the Toronto captain a two-year, $20 million deal. From TSN: James Duthie just announced on TSN that Vancouver has offered Mats Sundin a 2 year deal worht $20 million. Well, this contract can work both ways. A two-year deal does not pose a lot of risk to the Canucks--except for if Sundin were to retire after one season. However, a $20 million deal is far too high. Sundin wasn't worth that in his prime, so he surely isn't worth that now. ...
