... The Commodores ran off 21 straight points after looking awful in the first half — 50 yards offense — and surprised the Ol’ Ball Coach and his Gamecocks. Interesting item is that Brandon Barden the tight end on Vanderbilt who caught a 31-yard touchdown pass is a transfer from Virginia Tech.
