The Vernon Gholston contract is done, according to a person with knowledge of the negotiations. The only thing standing in the way of a Gholston press conference/appearance on the practice field is league approval. It should come in close to $9 million a year, a staggering amount for a rookie. He’d better be good, real good. [link]
