Former Padres All Star, Ryan Klesko, officially retires after a solid 16 year career. Klesko spent the first 8 years of his powerful career with the Atlanta Braves and had a very productive 7 seasons with the Friars before he follow Bruce Bochy to SF last season. Klesko enjoyed hia only All Star season as a member of the Padres in 2001 when he smashed 30 bombs with over 100 RBI. ...

Now it’s Official, Ryan Klesko has retired from Baseball. There were rumblings of that during the off season when Ryno told Chipper Jones that he was leaning towards getting away from Baseball. Ryno played the first 8 years of his career in Atlanta, until December 1999 where he was traded along with Bret Boone and Jason Shiell to the San Diego Padres for Wally Joyner, Reggie Sanders and Quilvio Veras.
He was 3rd in the Rookie Of the Year voting in 1994 and was a big cog in 1995 as the Braves went on to win the World Series. His best ...
