So Cal Style: Galaxy gets it done @ the HDC

After so many recent trials with missing star players on international duty, trades, and a startling front-office shake-up, it looks like the LA Galaxy may have things figured out for the remainder of the waning 2008 season...
They looked good --- really good --- Saturday night at their full-strength with the powerful tandem of Landon Donovan and David Beckham doing what they do best. The entire team was sharp against a very talented and well-prepared D.C. United, who only last month, after all, had won the U.S. Open Cup. Meanwhile, the Galaxy had been floundering, and at the bottom of the Western Conference table as of last week.
