Donovan and Beckham are now top MLS goal-scorers

Even though the score said 'draw' Saturday night with a 2-2 final, the Galaxy's latest match (at home, against the Houston Dynamo) gave Landon Donovan and David Beckham many great opportunities to shine...and shine is what they did in woring together on both goals scored by the team on the night.
Beckham got his second and third assists of the season on the two goals by Donovan , which were his foutrh and fifth. After four weeks of play, that places Landon alone as the top goal-scorer, and Beckham tied for first on assists. Beckham also scored a goal already this year, so th tow have 5 of the totla of six goals scored by the team so far.
As great as those two are doing, the Galaxy still have lost half of their games. Add in one draw and one loss, and this puts them in the bottom half of ...

In case some of you haven't been paying attention, we'd like to get you up to speed on the whirlwind of Beckham Mania that has developed in the first month of the season, now continuing into Week 5...
David Beckham made his first league goal in spectacular fashion in Week 2 of the season, and that was the first evidence of how great this season may be for him and his team. Days after that first goal and an assist in the same game - a 2-0 win over San Jose - Becks was named MLS Player of the Week.
In MLS Week 4, he paired with Landon Donovan on two goals, giving him his 2nd and 3rd assists.
