AP / SI.com: LA Galaxy defender Ty Harden has decided to quit soccer to explore philanthophic endeavors, saying he has "always loved helping people." Harden started 24 games as a rookie last season. The 23-year-old missed some games later in the season because of hip and calf injuries. He was chosen in the second round of last year's MLS SuperDraft, and was the Galaxy's 2007 Defender of the Year.
