Vin Scully’s call and the video of umpire Kerwin Danley taking a 96-mph Brad Penny fastball to the jaw…. Here’s hoping he’s okay. Early word from Baseball Tonight is he was coherent, conscious and breathing and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with his wife for “precautionary reasons.” From Saturday night's Rockies-Dodgers game.
